Why did you select KSU for your university?
I selected KSU because their Interior Design program is one of the best in the nation.
What's your favorite KSU tradition?
Tailgating before the football games is one of my favorite traditions.
What's a few of your favorite things about KSU.
I love how friendly everyone is here at KSU! The campus is gorgeous and I love the historical architecture. I love Wildcat football!
Describe your typical Saturday night in Manhattan.
My typical Saturday night varies; I might be down in Aggievlle with my friends or stuck in studio all weekend working on a project.
Do you have a favorite sport at KSU?
Heck yes, football!
What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
My dream job would be working at a large architecture firm, designing restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs.
Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KSU calendar?
I wanted to be a part of a group that would allow me to get out in Manhattan and represent my school, as well as meet some new people.
What 3 or 4 words describes you best?
Outgoing, Energetic, Organized, and Sweet.
Why did you choose your major?
I love every part of what I do, whether it be learning about construction methods or drafting floor plans. I’ve always appreciated architecture and design.
Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
I am an officer in the Interior Design club, i-Design, we do fun stuff all the time, like designing a couture outfit made out of interior finishing materials, or building houses for habitat for humanity.
What special talents do you have?
I do some photography in my spare time and I was also a flutist in band for 6 years.
Name something that most people don't know about you.
Growing up, I always beat my brothers in push-up contests.
What do you look for in a guy? What is sexy?
My fiancée is incredibly smart, athletic, confident, and sure about everything he does in life. Confidence is sexy, cockiness is not.
Tattoos - Turn on or turn off?
Depends on the guy, he has to be manly enough to have one if he does.
Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
I think I am a mixture between the two, the city life is thrilling and fast paced which is definitely my style, but the country is peaceful and you tend to appreciate nature more, I try to keep a healthy balance.
Roses or chocolates?
Neither, chocolates just make me have to work harder at the gym, and roses are generic. If I were to get flowers from guy, he better know what my favorite flower is!
What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
The photo shoot was a blast, but I am really excited to get to know the other girls.
