Why did you select KSU for your university?
Because K-state seemed like an awesome place for a new start, and the atmosphere just felt right to me.
What's your favorite KSU tradition?
Definitely tailgating before the football games. Nothing gets better than hanging out with good friends, playing games, drinking, and eating some great food.
What's a few of your favorite things about KSU.
The school spirit from everyone… Every day of the week, you can walk across campus and see people wearing purple… I love that! I also love Manhattan in general; it’s such a great college town.
Describe your typical Saturday night in Manhattan.
After I get off work, I would either go home and have a chill night with my friends, and watch movies.. Or I would get ready and go out and party. Dancing is my favorite!
Do you have a favorite sport at KSU?
Of course!! Basketball is my favorite because it gets so loud and intense! I get really into it. I love being a wildcat.
What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
I would love to be a graphic designer at some big company.. I’m not sure which one yet.. ooops :)
Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KSU calendar?
I’ve never modeled before so I thought it would be a great way to meet some new people and try something new. It was way worth it!
What 3 or 4 words describes you best?
Passionate, creative, loyal, and shy….at times :)
Why did you choose your major?
In high school I really liked graphic design and I love making all kinds of art!
Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
Duh! I’m very proud to be in the 2012 Women of KSU swimsuit calendar. :)
What special talents do you have?
I really love ceramics and drawing… I just love making art in general.
Name something that most people don't know about you.
I wear sunscreen everyday because I recently had a bad form of skin cancer called Melanoma.. Tanning is bad for you!
What do you look for in a guy? What is sexy?
Guys that have respect for women are by far the sexiest! I had a nasty relationship with a guy who didn’t respect women, so this one is very important for me.
Tattoos - Turn on or turn off?
Mostly, they are a turn on… but it really just depends on the tattoo and the guy.
Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
I’m from a really small town of barely 1500 people, so I would have to say I’m more of a country girl!
Roses or chocolates?
Definitely roses.. More romantic!
What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
The fame you get from everyone. I also loved getting to know the models, they are great girls! Oh and you can’t forget about the photographer, David Gillispie, and his lead photo assistant, Sean Mackay, they were awesome to work with!
